Pole Dancing is a combination of dance with acrobatics, up and around a vertical pole. Since 2017, Pole Dancing is officially recognized as a sport by the Global Association of International Sports Federation, and it is now a serious candidate for the Olympics.
What if I'm not a sport person?
Not a problem! Pole Dancing is a way to get you into sports without even noticing it. It is so much fun to perform tricks, and fly around the pole, that you won’t even realize you are working out. You already have a fitness practice? Great, that will help you play with more challenging tricks.
